Neringa Municipality together with Klaip\u0117da County Ieva Simonaityt\u0117 Public Library announces a scholarship competition for a writer residing at the International Centre for Translators and Writers.<\/p>\n
The scholarship is granted to a writer for the creative activity carried during the residence period under the programme of the International Centre for Translators and Writers, which consists of creative works created, performed or otherwise publicly presented to the people of the Neringa community.<\/p>\n
Amount of the scholarship<\/strong>: EUR 1,000; scholarship type<\/strong>: a one-off payment.<\/p>\n Duration of the residence and requirements:<\/strong> The winner of the scholarship is required to reside at the International Centre for Translators and Writers for at least one month within a chosen period (October 2021 to April 2022).<\/p>\n Place of residence<\/strong> – International Center for Translators and Writers (Skruzdyn\u0117s str. 9, Neringa (Nida))<\/p>\n Submission of applications and submission deadline:<\/strong> All interested parties are invited to submit free-form applications (volume – up to 2 pages). The application must be signed by the applicant. It is desirable that the applicant indicates in the application the period of planned residence (from – to).<\/p>\n The following has to be submitted along with the application:<\/p>\n * CV, including description of creative work;<\/p>\n * Examples of works or extracts from them;<\/p>\n * A description, concept or plan concerning the creative idea planned to be implemented during the residence term (volume: up to two pages).<\/p>\n Documents are sent by e-mail. by mail info@tvrc.lt<\/a> until June 6. (Sunday) at midnight Lithuanian time. We will inform the candidates about the received applications by e-mail. by mail.<\/p>\n Evaluation of applications.<\/strong> The submitted applications will be evaluated by expert commissions formed by Klaip\u0117da County Ieva Simonaityt\u0117 Public Library and Neringa Municipality Administration.<\/p>\n Selection criteria.<\/strong> The scholarship competition is open to everyone, regardless of education and current activities.
