Aim of the project:<\/strong> to encourage professional creators and writers to produce new literary works and to send the word about the beauty, history and people of the Neringa region to the local community, Lithuania and on a global scale.<\/p>\n Project duration:<\/strong> 2019<\/p>\n Project supported by: <\/strong>Neringa Municipality<\/p>\n Project Manager: <\/strong>Algina Vainilavi\u010dien\u0117<\/p>\n Project partners:<\/strong> Lithuanian Writers\u2019 Union Klaip\u0117da Branch<\/p>\n Brief description of the project:<\/strong> The aim of the project is to encourage creators to produce literary works about the Neringa region, revealing its beauty and disseminating the message about Neringa outside Lithuania. During the Word About Neringa<\/em> project, a competition for a residency scholarship took place. It was Laurynas Katkus, a writer, essayist and translator, who won it and had the opportunity to reside at the International Centre for Translators and Writers.
