Aim of the project: <\/strong>To encourage young translators and writers to take interest in the literary works of Ieva Simonaityt\u0117 and, making use of their creative and translation skills, to disseminate the works of the writer outside Lithuania.<\/p>\n Project duration: <\/strong>2018<\/p>\n Project supported by:<\/strong> Lithuanian Culture Council<\/p>\n Project Manager: <\/strong>Toma Gergelien\u0117<\/p>\n Project partners:<\/strong> Lithuanian Writers\u2019 Union Klaip\u0117da Branch, Faculty of Polish Studies at the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Humanities and Educational Science at the Klaip\u0117da University, Viktoras Mili\u016bnas Public Library, Neringa Municipality.<\/p>\n Brief description of the project:<\/strong> The project is designed to encourage young translators and writers to popularise and translate literary works of Ieva Simonaityt\u0117 through the provision of knowledge about the works of the writer and Lithuanian literature. During creative workshops, six participants, with the assistance of lecturers from the Klaip\u0117da University, translated into Polish excerpts from the A Different Home<\/em> (Lith. Ne ta pastog\u0117<\/em>) novel by Ieva Simonaityt\u0117.
