Fisherman’s House
The International Centre for Translators and Writers is a place to feel good while creating, working and relaxing. The complex consisting of two exclusive houses – the Fisherman’s House and German-style House – offers renovated cosy rooms, areas of common use for meetings, communication and relaxation, a private outdoor area and a parking lot. All rooms are equipped with a private bathroom with shower, mini fridge, flat-screen TV, computer, and free Wi-Fi, while the apartments also have kitchens with necessary utensils. There are five rooms in the Fisherman’s House: two standard doubles and a mini suite on the first floor, and two suites on the second floor. The house has a space for common use with a kitchen and a rest area that can be adapted for small events. The German-style House has four rooms: two standard doubles on the first floor and two apartments on the second floor. A kitchenette and laundry room are installed in the semi-basement of the house.

Nida, a standard double room
This room with a separate entrance from the yard has two single beds, a work desk with a computer, a bathroom and a shared kitchen. A folding single bed can be provided if required. Guests with pets are accepted.

The apartment has two single beds, a sofa bed, a work desk with a computer, a bathroom and a kitchen. The apartment has a balcony. A folding single bed can be provided if required. Guests with pets are accepted.

Arrival and Departure
Check in starts at 3 p.m.
Check out: up to 12 noon
Guests wishing to arrive or depart at another time have to arrange this with the staff of the Centre.
Access to rooms and areas of common use is possible in two ways: using a unique code generated for the guest or a magnetic key.
On the day of arrival, an SMS will be sent to the contact telephone number provided by you, giving the information on how to enter the room and areas of common use, and the respective code.
To access the room upon your arrival, you will enter the code sent to you in the digital door lock of the room. You will find the magnetic key (key holder) next to the computer in the room.
When departing, you are required to leave the rooms and other premises tidy (remove the bed linen, do not leave any products in the fridge, etc.). Leave the magnetic key holder next to the computer in the room and securely close the door after you so that to prevent access to the room to any unauthorised persons.
Payment
For stays during the warm season (May to October), regardless of the amount payable, the full price of the services is payable by bank transfer at least one week before the arrival.
Where your payment is not received by the specified deadline, the reservation is not guaranteed and staff members of the Centre shall have the right to cancel the reservation.
Our staff member shall inform the guest about the cancelled reservation by phone or e-mail not later than three calendar days before arrival.
For stays during the cold season (November to April), prepayment is not necessary and you can pay by a bank card on site upon arrival.
All information regarding the booking and payment will be sent in a separate email as the time of your stay approaches.
Payments in cash ARE NOT ACCEPTED.
Cancellation and Policy
Cancellation policies may vary depending on the time of stay.
If you do not arrive or fail to provide a notice of cancellation for important reasons, the amount paid will not be refunded.
The amount payed will only be refunded if information or a relevant document, stating important personal reasons for non-arrival (e.g., in case of illness), is provided, or in the event of a national and/or global emergency (e.g., a quarantine, pandemic).
In case of departure before the end of the accommodation term, the amount paid for the services is not refunded and/or otherwise reimbursed.
Any booking not yet paid for can be cancelled without any justification if a period of over one week remains up to the date of the scheduled arrival.
Pets
We accept guests with pets, except for the Pervalka and Preila rooms located on the first floor of the German-style House.
If you plan to arrive with pets, you are required to provide us with this information in advance.
The guests shall be responsible for and compensate for the damage caused by their pets.
A one-off fee of EUR 15 per pet for the entire duration of your stay shall apply.
Compensation for Damages
The guest and persons related to him/her undertake to comply with the approved rules for using the services provided by the Centre.
Where damage to the property of the Centre or that of other persons, etc. is caused through the fault of the guest or persons related to him/her, the guest has to compensate for such damage caused.
The damage caused shall be evaluated by the staff of the Centre or, depending on the scope of the damage, by the relevant authorities.
Processing of Personal Data
The personal data of the guest shall be processed in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation, the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania, the Law on Electronic Communications of the Republic of Lithuania and other legal acts regulating protection of personal data. The personal data processing term shall include the service provision period and 10 years after the expiry of the service provision period. Parking Lot
On-site parking is free of charge for our guests.
If you have to park in a way preventing another car from departing, you are required to leave your contact telephone number in your car in a place clearly visible from the outside, so that another driver could contact you and ask to give way when needed.
The Internet
Free Wi-Fi is available inside the whole area of the Centre. You can find login details in each room and the areas of common use.
Smoking
Smoking in the rooms, premises of common use and balconies is strictly prohibited.
