On April 5, Tetiana Virovka, an employee of the Klaipėda County Ieva Simonaitytė Public Library, presented a sociological study conducted in January-February on the topic: “Information needs of Ukrainians in Klaipėda”.
The participants of the event were introduced to the results of the study, which revealed the social and humanitarian problems of Ukrainian citizens.
Attention was drawn to the significant help provided by the public libraries of the Klaipėda region and the Migration Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania during the crisis.
The research was carried out as part of the project “Information requests of Ukrainian citizens in Klaipėda” financed by the Lithuanian Council of Culture.
