In September the team of the project Fixus Mobilis provides training and consultations related to issues on the maintenance of heritage objects in Nida and Juodkrantė. Over the weekend, a team from the International Centre for Translators and Writers also took part in this training.

The FIXUS Mobile project aims to provide heritage building managers with the most relevant information on theoretical and practical issues of object maintenance. During the training, participants received practical knowledge about the annual preventive maintenance work, how to carry them out correctly, what can and cannot be done in specific objects. Theoretical administrative issues were also discussed in the training – FIXUS project assistance options, legislative requirements, funding mechanisms, etc.

On Saturday, specialists in the preventive supervision of the FIXUS project also visited the International Centre for Translators and Writers. During the individual consultation, specialists looked at and assessed the condition of the Fisherman’s House building and made recommendations about the preventive building maintenance works to be carried out in the near future.
