21 November 10 am. In Nida, film industry professionals, representatives of creative residencies and municipalities will gather at the “Residency Horizons for Filmmakers” forum to explore new connections between the film industry and the creative residency network.
What can residencies become for filmmakers? How can cooperation between seaside residencies stimulate film production in the region? The event will seek answers to these questions, share experiences, discuss challenges, funding opportunities and practical solutions that can facilitate the creative process in the coastal region.
The aim of the Forum is to bring together seaside creative residencies into a collaborative network that operates as a one-stop shop: from the coordination of filming permits to the accommodation of the team. Such a system would help developers to focus on what matters most – creation and storytelling.
The event will take place in the foyer of the Nida Culture and Tourism Information Centre “Agila”, Taikos str. 4.
