25 April The International Translators and Writers Centre (TVRC) together with the Ievos Simonaitytė Public Library of Klaipėda County invited to an exclusive literary evening with poet, photographer Dainius Dirgėla and the moderator of the event – philologist, orientalist and poet Danas Milašauskas.
During the event, the creative project “Neringa’s Photo Threads” was presented, combining minimalist poetry – haiku – with visual art. Dainius Dirgėla shared his experiences and insights into the specifics of haiku creation, the subtleties of this genre and its links with photography. During the creative dialogue, the author’s ability to convey deep states, fragments of nature and everyday existence through a short poetic form and image became apparent.
The conversation also covered the poet’s creative paths, personal explorations and future projects. The audience had the opportunity not only to get acquainted with the work of Dainius Dirgela, but also to ask questions and take part in the discussion.
