Ieva Venskevičiūtė, a literary translator from English and French, is already in residence at the International Centre for Translators and Writers in Nida as a participant of the Individual Creative Residency project. Ieva will be staying at the International Centre for Translators and Writers until the end of April, where she will work on the translation of Amy Neff’s The Days I Loved You Most.
“I’m Ieva, a literary translator from English and French. During my residency in Nida, I intend to prepare the final version of the novel, which is now in translation, and I hope that the green and blooming Nida, its fresh waters, will take my mind away from the usual routine and thinking/seeing, inspire a more interesting word, a more graceful sentence.”
