Aim of the project: To contribute to the development of the of creative residence programme by awarding a residence scholarship to creators through the utilisation of the services providedby the International Centre for Translators and Writers, a division of the Klaipėda County Ieva Simonaitytė Public Library, based in Neringa (Nida).

Brief description of the project: During the implementation of the project, Edmundas Atkočiūnas, a writer and poet, the winner of the scholarship competition, has been residing and working at the International Centre for Translators and Writers for two weeks. On 25 September 2020, an event to present the creative work of the resident took place at the community house of the Neringa City. The cultural event was dedicated for the poetry created during the residence on the Neringa Surrounded by Elements. Word and Image theme. The event also featured the poetry of Edmundas Atkočiūnas from the early period presented to the audience by the author himself and Alvydas Rakauskas, a reciter.
