Brief description of the project: The aim of the project is to encourage creators to produce literary works about the Neringa region, revealing its beauty and disseminating the message about Neringa outside Lithuania. During the Word About Neringa project, a competition for a residency scholarship took place. It was Laurynas Katkus, a writer, essayist and translator, who won it and had the opportunity to reside at the International Centre for Translators and Writers. At the end of the residence term, the event to present the creative work of Laurynas Katkus took place, during which he shared excerpts from his work and his experience with the local community, other residents of the centre and visitors to Neringa.
