“At the International Centre for Translators and writers 12th of November 6 p. m. experiential education will take place “Is it possible to raise a dead word?”? In the education we will reflect on living and dead words, smell them, express the feeling caused, share the joy of creation. We will try to revive the word – to hear, smell, feel and take away. We are going to find out: what is the death of language; why and when languages die; what can be done to preserve language; when a word is alive and what affects its vitality.

During the education, you will meet and get acquainted with Reet Kudu, a resident of the International Centre for Translators and Writers from Estonia. She is not only a writer but also a director and ballet master of contemporary ballet. She has arrived for two months under an “Artist Residencies” project funded by the Nordic Culture Point.

Photography and filming will take place during the event. Please be aware that participants may be featured in photos and videos that will be posted on social networks and media.
Visitors are required to comply with security requirements subject to quarantine restrictions.

Participation in the events is only possible with the Opportunity Passport. Sorry for the inconvenience.
