“Latvian poet Inga Pizāne, a participant of the Artist residencies project, sends warm wishes to all Nida lovers!
After winning a Nordic Council of Ministers-funded competition, Inga spent this spring working intensively at the International Centre for Translators and Writers in Nida. Her unique experiences in the Centre and the Curonian Spit inspired her to write a poem dedicated to Nida. The Latvian-language work was published in the cultural magazine Punctum in May. In order to share her work with an even wider circle of poetry and Nida lovers, Inga has translated the poem into English and sends it to us, along with her best wishes.
