Today, another participant of the Individual Creative Residency programme – actress, playwright, poet and translator Nida Timinskaitė – arrived at the International Centre for Translators and Writers.
The Creator shares: “I am Nida, a poet, playwright and translator. I visit Curonian Spit mostly in autumn and spring. I am happy to welcome spring in Nida, to get away from the daily routine, to spend time in silence with the unique nature, meditating and contemplating, walking with a notebook, when my thoughts “drift” along the sails of the lagoon and the waves…
This is how my poetry book “Wind Runes” was born, which I plan to present to the readers of Neringa and Klaipėda.
I hope to write new texts inspired by nature, God, wind… and sand.”
The presentation of Nida Timinskaitė’s poetry book “Wind Runes” will take place on 7 March, 17.00 in the Conference Hall of the library.
