Inga Pizāne, poet in residence from Latvia

The second winner of the Nordic Council of Ministers-funded Artist Residencies project, Inga Pizāne, is a writer-in-residence at the International Centre for Translators and Writers .

Inga is a Latvian poet, author of 3 poetry collections “Tu neesi sniegs” (2016), “Siena, ko nosiltināt” (2019) and “Tas pats izmisums, tikai ar puķēm” (2022). Her second collection of poetry was awarded the Ojars Vācietis Literary Poetry Prize (2020). Her third collection of poetry was nominated for Kilograms of Culture 2022.
He has participated in many international poetry festivals in the UK, Finland, Slovakia, New York, etc. Inga loves cinema and photography, and during her stay at the International Centre for Translators and Writers, she publishes a Nida diary on her social networks, describing her experience in the residency and her love for Nida.

The successful development of the Artist Residencies project contributes to multilateral cultural and cognitive exchanges, and provides an opportunity for international cooperation between artists and their residency organisations.
